This song hits hard, if you "couldn't quite tell"..
Vancouver's very own local Rainbow Kitten Surprise crossed with Ocean Alley's catchy choruses gives us none other than solo act singer/musician Andrew Phelan. If you missed him at Skookum Festival then you won't be making the same mistake twice when his upcoming album Everything Rattles When I Breathe releases. The former The River and the Road singer-songwriter struts his new indie rock sound on his latest single "Shark," making it a leap from his more folk past. Originally from Australia, Andrew Phelan makes "Shark" just his second release of 2018 having dropped "Good Luck" earlier this year proving once again that Australians make amazing music. A blend of the Australian vitamin D and Vancouver's melancholy makes for Phelan's loud sad music one that is sure to make some noise as soon as his LP drops. Amidst dropping his new album, Andrew Phelan will be on tour next month in Australia kicking it off in Melbourne, grab tickets now.
