Ben Rogers joining Dallas Green's 'Still Records' was god send..
Vancouver singer/songwriter Ben Rogers has been impressing for sometime with his americana-soaked songs that can be heard in his past albums Lost Stories and The Bloodred Yonder. Rogers has now entered a new chapter in his storied career by signing to acclaimed Canadian singer Dallas Green's new label, an imprint of independent label Dine Alone Records, called Still Records. Rogers finds himself stepping away from his country inspired Americana to a more raw, rock-fumed sound that can sit as an extension of City and Colour's own reflective songwriting and fluorescent delivery. With Dallas Green in his corner, BC native Rogers can confidently release the music close to his heart knowing he has one of Canada's most respected songwriters supporting him. Roger's upcoming and first album under the Still Records imprint is titled Wildfire and is due out on March 1st. We received the first preview of the album with singles, "Steady Going Nowhere" and "A Changed Man" that were released late last year. Now in 2019, Rogers wastes no time to release his third single off the album titled, "Rattle Your Chains." It sounds like a gloomy day in Vancouver, but one that you wouldn't change for the world because simply, it's Vancouver. You can listen to his latest single below and can pre-order his album in vinyl here.
You can find "Rattle Your Chains" on our Melancholy Love Sounds playlist via Spotify.
