Corbin shows his Brazilian roots with the famous cover..
Brazilian singer/songwriter Corbin Hale left his home to shoot his shot at his dream choosing Vancouver as his base. The growing music scene here is bubbling and Corbin wanted to come along for the ride. With his two big singles "Wildcard" and "Kaleidoscope" out for some time now, he follows it up with his long-awaited Vancouver debut EP, Wildcard. Sporting some familiar song titles, he lets go of a few new tracks that include "B.L.O.O.D.," "Golden Gates" and lastly a cover of the famous song "Girl From Ipanema." The song was originally performed by Brazilian singer Antônio Carlos Jobim and later covered by Brazilian singer Roberto Carlos and composer Caetano Veloso, but was made uber famous by Frank Sinatra who took it another direction. Now Corbin Hale tries his hand at it and comes off with an English/Portuguese version that lacks no bit of elegance.
