Vancouver's Jon Bryant is preparing something truly worth listening..
Vancouver's very own Jon Bryant has been very busy this past year releasing quality track after quality track starting it all with his therapeutic and easy-going single, "Paradise." Since then, I've come to realize that Bryant is preparing one remarkable album that mixes folk with the smooth sound of soul and indie-pop. His album may just push me to go on a road trip in the summer because that's the type of feeling it instills; a need for exploration, curiousity and the act of living in the moment. Then came the heavenly "Cultivated" and now for his first release of 2019 he drops "Did What I Did"; an ode to all our fuck-ups growing up. The video pairs great with the track, sending you straight back to high school to picture day and with each student comes a flashback of a stunt they pulled with the lyrics "Did what I did, because I wanted to," highlighting the moment. Expect an album real soon from the Vancouver artist as these tracks need a quality home. Shout out to Nettwerk Music Group.
