Vancouver's R&B wave is more than alive with "Issues"..

Vancouver R&B artist Chris Antonio is yet another example that this R&B wave coming out of Vancouver is very much alive and ready for a bigger stage. The up and coming singer starts the year in full throttle with the release of his debut single "Issues." Influence from The Weeknd is undeniable, with the Chris Antonio delivering a tough and uncut ballad about trust issues. The track is mixed and mastered by Jamie Kuse whom frequently works with Vancouver rapper Terell Safadi, which might sound familiar due to Chris' memorable appearance on Terell's "In The City."  Terell is turning into a household name in Vancouver hip-hop, but it was Chris Antonio's chorus on that release that had everyone wondering who the hell was on the hook. Now feeding off that exposure and success, Chris Antonio finally drops "Issues;" the first preview of his upcoming album Seasons, which is due out sometime this year. According to Chris Antonio, his debut album will commemorate the change of seasons in his native Vancouver bringing different tones of sounds reflecting those seasons and of course his smooth R&B soul. Expect more new music from Chris Antonio leading up to the release of his debut album.
